In 2006, we insulated the “Kraanspoor” office complex in Amsterdam. For this project, we insulated the façades using HR-IsoSpray HFO.
About Kraanspoor
Since 2007, the Kraanspoor office building has been an impressive landmark on the northern waterfront of the River IJ in Amsterdam. Built on top of a historic crane track, the building appears to float above the structure and features three storeys of transparent office space.
In 2008, Kraanspoor received several prestigious awards, including the Dutch National Steel Award, the Glass Award, the Urban Land Institute Global Award for Excellence and the MIPIM Green Building Award. The latter was awarded in part for the building’s innovative energy system, which uses water from the River IJ for cooling during the summer and heating during the winter.
