The Nij Begun scheme, also known as Measure 29, provides homeowners in Groningen and the municipalities of Aa en Hunze, Noordenveld and Tynaarlo with additional support for insulating and ventilating their homes. Ventilation measures are also covered by the scheme. Naturally, all work is carried out in accordance with nature-inclusive insulation requirements, as required by law. This ensures that the work is always completed responsibly and correctly.
There are two ways to apply for the grant. The route that applies to you depends on your property and the cost of the measures. The main difference is whether you are required to have a home improvement plan prepared by an independent advisor. We guide you through the process step by step in both situations.
Before applying for the Nij Begun grant, it is important to determine which application route applies to your situation. This determines whether you first need a home improvement plan (Route A) or whether you can immediately schedule a consultation with us (Route B).

Step 3: Submit Your Grant Application (Route B Only)
